RIVALS – Original Street Racing Drama Concept

Role: Creator | Director | Visual Storyteller | Editor
Tools Used: MidJourney, Hailuo, Suno, Kling, Premiere Pro, After Effects

Logline
A young street racer from Orange County crosses into Los Angeles to grow his reputation online. But in LA, he clashes with Carlos — a dangerous underground racing boss — and falls for the one person he shouldn’t: Carlos’s sister, Sofia.

Overview
RIVALS is an original IP blending high-stakes racing, social media ego, underground crime, and forbidden love. Set against a modern West Coast backdrop, it’s a cinematic world that collides speed, loyalty, and ambition. The tone mixes gritty realism with stylized drama — like Tokyo Drift meets Euphoria — and it was entirely built using next-gen creative tools.

Creative Process

  • MidJourney: Developed key visuals, characters, locations, and moodboards

  • Hailuo: Directed subtle emotional animation and cinematic poses

  • Kling: Brought scenes to life with synced motion and energy

  • Suno: Created an original score with dark synth textures and high-octane beats

  • Premiere Pro & After Effects: Edited and polished the teaser visuals with dynamic pacing, glitch transitions, and visual FX for tone
