Bob Log III – “Consuela Did It” Live Music Video

Role: Cinematographer, Editor, Creative Director
Location: The Wayfarer, Costa Mesa
Artist: Bob Log III

Strap in, because this one is fast, filthy, and full throttle. I filmed and edited a no-frills, full-intensity live music video for Bob Log III’s “Consuela Did It,” capturing the blues-punk energy of his performance at The Wayfarer.

Armed with a Sony NEX and a vintage 50mm Manota lens, I shot the entire set from the pit — raw, up close, and in sync with the chaos. From helmet-phone vocals to blistering slide guitar solos, every frame was captured and cut to highlight the unfiltered power of Bob’s one-man show. No fluff, no studio tricks — just sweat, grit, and sound.

Responsibilities:

  • Filmed the entire performance using a single-camera setup and manual focus

  • Synced live performance with studio track, matching energy and pacing frame by frame

  • Edited with a focus on rhythm, impact, and immersion using Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Color graded and stylized to preserve the gritty analog feel of the show

  • Delivered a final video optimized for YouTube and social sharing

Outcome:

  • Captured the raw spirit of Bob Log III’s live presence in a high-energy edit

  • Shared by the artist on social media, expanding reach and visibility

  • Showcased my ability to turn single-cam live footage into a polished, emotionally charged music video

  • Reinforced my creative brand as someone who brings live shows to life on screen
